Turning Points loves our Volunteers! Volunteer events happen throughout the year. We welcome individuals and groups of volunteers to reach out if you are interested in participating in a certain event/activity or would like to create your own volunteering event.
Support our food pantry program, FAWN!
FAWN has two food pantries, one in Tilden Middle School (Southwest) and one in the Rising Sun Health Center (Olney area). FAWN provides fresh produce, meat, dairy, and non-perishable products to around 200-300 families each week.
You can support the families who visit our pantries by organizing a drive for non-perishable food items, toiletries, and household products and making essentials kits for our neighbors who need it the most.
Feel free to start a drive on your own or join together with a team of your co-workers or community members!
For more information, please reach out to our Development Team at
If you would like to inquire about volunteering in-person at one of our FAWN pantries, please visit our FAWN page or scroll down this page to check and see if you meet the criteria. FAWN is currently looking for volunteers who can commit to at least one consistent day a week for a minimum of 3 weeks. If that is you, reach out to
Note: Volunteer times for this opportunity occur during weekday morning and afternoon pantry hours.
