Last May we celebrated National Foster Care Month by honoring the amazing work of our foster parents, who are committed to making safe and loving homes for children in need, and the resilience of our youth in foster care.
At the same time, we celebrated the wonderful work of our staff; specifically our Family Finding Program, who turned 10 this year.
At Turning Points for Children, we believe that youth mental health matters.
Our Bridge Intensive Support Services provides individualized care and mentorship to prevent youth from entering the juvenile justice system. With your help, we are helping youth to stay in school and stay safe.
I am excited to share the news that Turning Points for Children has been named a Top Workplace by The Philadelphia Inquirer Top Work Places 2021!
Because of you good things happened in 2020 as well.
This is our Turning Points continuum wheel: an interlocking set of evidence-based programs that provide resources and services to vulnerable individuals.
Your donations support all of these initiatives. You help keep the wheel in motion.
I won't pretend this has been a normal year. Things are challenging for everyone right now, and even if the world feels anything but normal we hope this letter finds you well and safe in your home.
But how safe is it to be home when your home isn’t safe? That is the question that Lynn faced.
